Most clients describe the sensation during microneedling as a light prickling or warm feeling rather than pain. Sensitivity can vary depending on individual skin type, treatment intensity, and the area being treated.

After the microneedling treatment, the skin may feel slightly sensitive, warm, or tight for 1–2 days, similar to a mild sunburn. This is a normal part of the skin healing and collagen production process.

Skin Reset microneedling is most effective as a course of treatments rather than a single session. It can be performed once per month, with the next treatment recommended after 4 weeks to allow the skin to fully regenerate and stimulate collagen production.

For optimal skin rejuvenation results, we recommend 3–6 treatments per year, depending on your skin condition and individual goals. This treatment schedule helps improve skin texture, firmness, acne scars, fine lines, and overall skin quality over time.

After Skin Reset microneedling, it is important to follow a gentle aftercare routine to support skin healing and protect the skin barrier. Avoid using strong active ingredients such as retinol, AHAs, or BHAs for several days, as well as any harsh exfoliation or friction on the skin.

Heat exposure such as saunas, steam baths, and intense workouts should also be avoided immediately after treatment, as they may increase redness and sensitivity. Most importantly, avoid direct and intensive sun exposure for at least 4 weeks and use a high SPF daily to protect the skin.

Mild dryness, tightness, or sensitivity is normal for a short period after microneedling as the skin undergoes its natural regeneration and collagen production process.
